Focused protection. A better sign-in.
FluentAuth is a security plugin for WordPress. It helps protect logins, review site activity and investigate file changes, with tools to make signing in easier for your users.
Most break-ins come through the login page.
The sites that land in our support queue after a hack almost always tell the same story: thousands of failed logins from a few addresses, then one that worked. WordPress answers the fifty-thousandth guess the same way it answers the first, publishes every username on the author archive, and tells nobody.
The usual fix is five or six plugins: one to limit attempts, one for two-factor, one per social provider, one for redirects, one to hide the admin bar, and a security suite on top running a firewall on every request and a red score in the dashboard. Slow, nagging, and more than the job needs.
So we built the jobs that stop break-ins into one plugin that hooks the login flow and a daily scan, and nothing else. Limits, a second factor, hardening, a log, alerts, file-integrity checks, and a recovery screen for the day something gets through. Free, because every site needs the door locked.
// the usual stack limit-login-attempts + two-factor + social-login + login-redirect + hide-admin-bar + activity-log // FluentAuth wp plugin install fluent-security --activate
Four rules we build by.
Light by design
FluentAuth focuses on login protection and file monitoring. It does not run a PHP firewall or scan files on every page view. Optional sign-in features load their own assets where needed.
Prevent, detect, recover
Attempt limits, two-factor and hardening to prevent; logs, alerts and integrity scans to detect; session revocation, resets and reinstalls to recover. One plugin, one place to look.
Explain, don't alarm
Every switch says what it closes. The findings screen is a short list, each item with a reason and a button to fix it. Nobody needs a score to feel worried about.
Free & open source
The plugin is GPL licensed, with its source on GitHub. The features shown on this site will remain in the free plugin if we introduce a Pro version.
